Ubisoft revealed today that a “Minecraft” inspired map and texture pack will be released for free on PC on October 26, 2012.
This pack allows users to explore and survive the Minecraft experience through the warped lens of Far Cry 3, with modifications to all aspects of the original game, including environments, weapons and tools. Discover key Far Cry 3 locations and characters, including Vaas, Jason and Citra, all completely redesigned in Minecraft style. The map also features over 50 Easter Eggs, hidden throughout the Islands.
The map is modded by Michael Lambert who is a well known Minecraft enthusiast. Also contributing to the map mods are artists Axel Janssen and Yohann Delcourt, both who are responsible for the textures.
The Far Cry 3 inspired Minecraft pack will be released for free on PC via Far Cry’s Official Website. For now you can check out the screenshots below.
