A German retailer, Saturn, has released some information regarding Star Wars and Disney Infinity, not only giving a speculative date of August 20th but a sneak peak at the starter pack as well. Included in the box are Anakin Skywalker and Ahsok Tano, along with a set piece though it features a number of popular characters on the box. Both current gen and last gen copies will be sold, with the price set at the standard $69.99 for current gen consoles.
So far Disney has kept quiet about this aside from a tweet in German translating to “patience you must have”, but it sounds like while they don’t want to officially confirm anything, this is the real deal. Expect more information as the date gets closer but with The Force Awakens coming to theaters this December, merchandise shouldn’t come as a shock to any of us. Possibly the biggest revelation from the box art is that they seem to have gone the route of the Clone Wars, so fans of the cartoon could soon have a chance to play through some harrowing moments from the series themselves.
