Check Out the Most Fan Requested Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Games

Last week at the Microsoft E3 Press Conference it was announced that not only will we be able to play digital Xbox 360 games, but also retail Xbox 360 games on the Xbox one. It’s said that your games will start appearing on your download list, and if it’s a physical disc a download will also initiate for it.

Microsoft announced the backwards compatibility option will be available for all players to play Xbox 360 games on their Xbox One starting this fall.

Presently only a small selected amount of games are currently available for preview members; however, Xbox has opened a voting section where you can vote which games you want to be backwards compatible.

Currently Red Dead Redemption is in the lead, but dude-bros can rejoice as the Call of Duty franchise owns nearly half the spots on the top 10 list.

Take a look at the top 12 on the list (as of 22:30 PT 2015-06-25):

  • Red Dead Redemption (Votes – 57,011)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops II (Votes – 53,824)
  • Skyrim (Votes – 51,787)
  • Halo: Reach (Votes – 44,932)
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Votes – 44,900)
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops (Votes – 37,474)
  • Gears of War 3 (Votes – 37,035)
  • Fallout 3 (Votes – 35,370)
  • Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Votes – 33,159)
  • Mass Effect 3 (Votes – 30,840)
  • BioShock Infinite (Votes – 29,072)
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Votes – 28,194)
