Good news PGA Tour owners! Today EA SPORTS revealed that Rory McIlroy PGA TOUR will be releasing new content, making new courses available for free to all owners.
This comes as encouraging news to all those who griped about the amount of courses available at launch. Granted this was an issue for us as well (check out our full review here). We still expect some paid DLC to drop in the weeks to come but for now we will take the free courses.
The first of these is TPC Scottsdale, which will be available on August 11. This course, set in the beautiful Sonoran Desert, provides a masterful blend of challenge and playability.
And toward the end of September, East Lake Golf Club, host of the PGA TOUR FedExCup TOUR Championship by Coca Cola, will also be available for free.
Both TPC Scottsdale and East Lake Golf Club will be available in Play Now, Tour Pro career, and online modes. For more info and the source to this story head over to EA Sports website.
